Sore legs pleaseee
Today I did a fartlek for the first time since high school track/cross country. Surprisingly it was pretty easy even though I was pushing myself. I seriously need to run a 1/2 marathon already. I know with a little training, I would totally get an awesome time.
Anyways…..this was my workout today:
1.0+ mile warm up (10:00)
3.0+ mile fartlek (0:30 up tempo/2:00 long run pace x10 for 25:00 total)
x100 lunges
x100 plieau squats
x100 hip abductor lifts
1.0 mile cool down (9:00)
TOTAL: 5.0 miles (2 miles easy, 3 miles workout)
x300 legs
~650-700 calories….cool
