Sore legs pleaseee

Today I did a fartlek for the first time since high school track/cross country. Surprisingly it was pretty easy even though I was pushing myself. I seriously need to run a 1/2 marathon already. I know with a little training, I would totally get an awesome time.

Anyways…..this was my workout today:
1.0+ mile warm up (10:00)
3.0+ mile fartlek (0:30 up tempo/2:00 long run pace x10 for 25:00 total)
x100 lunges
x100 plieau squats
x100 hip abductor lifts 
1.0 mile cool down (9:00) 

TOTAL: 5.0 miles (2 miles easy, 3 miles workout)
            x300 legs
            ~650-700 calories….cool 

So amped right now~!!

Today was gr8! So went to work and while I was working, my mom came into the store with the LETTER SAYING I WAS ACCEPTED INTO APU’S SCHOOL OF NURSING.

Hella hella hella.

k so the day actually went by fast and I got a bunch of cool/free grocries from work because they all expired. Scummy….yes a little. But hey, German cookies don’t really go “bad” unless its like a year over. Not a month.

thinking of going on a second run for the day….hmmmmm.

What is up w/me doing hills?

Another decently brutal workout 15 hours later……
Ran an easy 3 miles, then when I thought I was going to die, out of no where I got the motivation to run up one of the longest and steepest hills in my neighborhood.

Awesome! 

Also got a few of these today too……BEST SPORT BRA EVER…..or so I think. Think I’m going to get even a few more.

Got these bad boys today. Did another run for the day-3 miles this morning on my gel pulse 2, and then 5 miles on my nimbus.

Yesterday was just 4.5— But, today was 1.0 warm up, 3.0 workout (fast) and 1.0 cool down. Soooo 5.0 total, and 23 for the week. I just want to get back to 27-33 mi per week again. I’d be happy

Just a little running and pug obsessed...Sophomore at a private university in LA and actually enjoying school. My boyfriend is the gr8est and I probably talk about him more than anything else.
